We will continue practice with our Form 1 in TaekwonDo. (also called Taegeuk il jang) Taekwondo forms are practiced world wide, and also known as patterns. In Karate, this technique is known as kata. Taekwondo forms are used to practice certain techniques (i.e. kicking combinations) as well as for conditioning purposes, muscle memory, focus/concentration, etc. We will also be working on High punch, Middle punch, Low punch, and Triple punches (incorporating all three punches), and we will begin working on our Reverse kick.
