>Children advance individually through USA Gymnastics skill progressions
Week of Aug 30 - Sept 3: Animal Week; Monkey rolls (forward and backward), Side bunny hop (Cartwheel),  Donkey Kicks; Bars  - Possum Hang pull ups; Beam - Flamingo walks, bear walks ;
Ending Activity: Eagle rolls (roll with no hands)

Week of Sept 6-10:  Scarves Week; Vault - Tuck/straddle jump off springboard over scarf; Tumbling - front roll with scarf under chin and between knees; Beam - V sit holding scarf between feet, L-kicks holding scarves out with airplane arms
Ending Activity: Bridge/Table with scarf on tummy

Week of Sept 13-17:  Backwards Week; Back roll, back bend, bridge, candlestick, backward jumps; Beam - backwards walks and on tip-toe

Week of Sept 27 - Oct. 1: Balance Week; Headstand, handstand on parallettes, L-hold on parallettes; Beam - Scale and stork stand
Ending Activity: Build a House (handstand progression)

**Centers that provide our Yoga Classes will be working positions of Reach for the Sun, Diamond Pose, Cat Pose, Standing Side Stretch Pose, Cobra Pose, Downward Facing Dog, Frog Pose, Childs Pose, Tree Pose and Mountain Pose. Some of the songs we'll use these poses in are: Let's Go to Work, The Shimmy, Black Dog in the River, Caterpillar, Surfer Mama
